About The Artist

        Welcome!  My name is Kristen and I'm a self-taught artist and kindergarten teacher who is always on the move between Toronto, London, and Muskoka, ON.  My work varies from house and pet portraits to unique concepts dreamed up by me or my clients. I find the most joy in capturing places or moments that are so often overlooked. 

 

       I was introduced to watercolour and ink methods while working as an au pair and living with an artist in France in the Summer of 2016.  While I am often pulled to try new mediums, I always find my way back to my watercolours, which fit perfectly in my backpack on a sunny day.  Whether painting with five year olds or dockside in the summer, I always feel best with a brush in hand.
